Ann Gerrish Cofone

Lives & works in Hobe Sound, FL

I have been trained in textiles and Fine Arts and work intuitively drawing, painting, dyeing and printing on fabric, canvas and paper; lately I have studied traditional needlework techniques incorporating the stitches into my art as another form of line .

I find myself in awe of the small but lasting elements of life and see beauty in found and abandoned objects that others might walk past or discard and I enjoy telling my story as simply as possible.
